Mindy Kaling Thinks Shes Invisible in Super Bowl Ad Teaser

Mindy Kaling doesn’t usually make a habit of getting naked and reading a book in Central Park but now that she’s invisible, she’s all for it.

“Invisible Mindy” is the premise for Kaling’s new Super Bowl ad for Nationwide, and the teaser was released today. “After years of being treated like she was invisible it occurred to Mindy Kaling she might actually be invisible,” the narrator says in the clip.

Kaling responds by immediately stripping down in Central Park, walking through a car wash, and eating a ton of sweets. Only — whoops — she’s not actually invisible. The rest of the commercial will air during the second quarter of the Super Bowl.
